Just heard that Jack Ross could be in by the weekend of a good friend of mine with ties to Easter road. So I started hunting everywhere for something to show in regards to this. I could not find out anything except sky bet odds have plumited to 1/ 5. Quite unusual to see that unless he has been spotted at Easter road or something has been leaked.

Which weekend there's some worrying candidates with average records c'mon leann needs to be someone with decent exp of scottish prem and decent pedigree to attract decent players no rocket science and sports degrees or attitudes the players need to want to play for them.

I'm hearing hibs have beaten Aberdeen to the signing of the Scunthorpe boy. He will be a great new signing for hibs in my eyes.

It appears that Aberdeen are not chasing Scott Allan from what I can see on the Aberdeen instant news. No mention of him at all. Hearing a lot about gunnerson coming back and Ross McCormack on loan.

I think I rightly questioned our new keeper last week but I think I may have been a bit over critical.
Thank you keeper for some of your fantastic saves in the game last night. Well done to every player and the staff and fans who all got our great team over the line.

For the past few weeks i have bee reading posts on this site and there have been a few things that have been inaccurate.
Some newspapers got wrong what Leanne actually said and so have some fans.
She never said we would have the biggest transfer budget that we have seen. She said that we would have the biggest budget.
That means more investment in youth.
More investment in our facilities.
More investment in coaching.
And of course transfer budget and wadges and other things involved with the club.
Another thing that has been said on a few occasions is that our budget would not be affected by the sale of SJM. Although it seems to have been projected by the media and by Celtic football club and by fans that it would be affected.
Hibs football club though set out a budget and stated that they wanted to keep SJM. So the budget was set before Celtics first offer came in for SJM.
So far around 300k spent on 2 players and very good players at that. Who can aswell forget about that awful keeper we have on loan to. He will not get a game though when our number 1 returns as he was signed as a back up.
From what has been said also the 21 year old man city player will be signed on loan next week as he completed a medical at Easter road today and now its just a case of paperwork and that kind of stuff.
I had hoped that we would have signed more players by now as we are in Europe but deals hibs had hoped to get done fell through.
Some how aswell i don't think Lennon would be here if he was not given the budget to replace players he new he was going to loose. IE Allan, Barker, Dylan, Mclaren.
I don't want to see hibs rush into signings that could be bad for the team as i would rather wait and get the right players.
Saying that the keeper last night was awful.

Give the keeper a chance, 10 guys iñ front of him weren't great in the fairies fisherm3n game either, that's Lennon's tactics as loñg as we score more than other team, saying that don't know why laidlaw no getting a chance?

Having watched three games with Bogdan, two of which I attended, I can honestly say he is horrendous. He hasn't made any save of note in any of the three games, his kicking is suspect and he doesn't command his box. The first goal conceded on Thursday night at his near post might be the mistake that costs us Europe, plain and simple, criminal for any goalkeeper. I've got faith in Lenny when it comes to signings but occasionally the gaffer along with staff get it wrong, unfortunately not every signing will be a Kamberi! I really hope next week in Greece he puts faith in Laidlaw as right now Bogdan is looking like our achilles heel. You've got to take notice when all the Liverpudlian papers were mocking his performance expectedly!

I think now we need to face facts. Lennon has been a great manager for hibs but nothing lasts forever. In recent times I have questioned his team selection massively. Sir David should be playing. Whitty should be let go. Kamberi should not be playing on his own up front. And Shaw is just not good enough to play for hibs atm. Lennon needs to hold his hands up now. We have a lot of good players that are not performing for him anymore. He is a manager that I have a ton of respect for after what he has done with us but your time has been coming to so am end Lenny. Make a move soon hibs before we can't bring in any more players this January.

I'm probably going to get slaughtered for this but here goes. I'm confident we have easily got the making of a top 3 team.
Keeper wise we are no worse off than last season as the big man will be back from his injury soon.
Defence we are the same as last season
Midfield last season we had no one that could take a free kick or a corner and our goalscoring from set plays was awful. Dylan has left and we have actually brought in a midfielder that can score from set plays. Give Mallan time as how many times did he play in England before his move to hibs? .
We also have more pace
I no we lost Barker but this new man city winger from what we hear is even faster than him with more ball control. I no this visa is a pain though. Plus we have Horgan who has came in and from a RUMOUR that I heard we paid in the region off 200k for him and I don't think Lenny would want hibs to pay near that if he was rubbish.
Johns replacement well we need a permanent 1
This American boy played really well at rangers so he has to be given a chance.
Attack we have the same 3 as we did in the last few months of last season.
Plus Lenny wants more players in.
From what I have said I don't think we are weaker. There are not many players that can replace John but if we are getting another 2 In we have more depth.
It's going to be interesting to see as well how many more set pieces we score from this season compared to last.

I think people are starting to panic a bit needlessly.
Yea that performance was shocking but we are only 4 games into the season guys.
There are a couple of other teams as Well that I thought would have been doing a bit better to. ( Aberdeen )
(Celtic) and even rangers who have spent a lot of money and conceded 3 goals to a poor Motherwell team.
Lennon said after the livi game that he got it wrong and he needs to work on the tactics which we can all see needs altered.
I have no doubt that hibs will come good when our missing players come back.

And our ace number 1 goalkeeper.
We have been unlucky with visas for 2 players but this team will have valuable training time over the next 2 weeks. Keep the faith guys GGTTH.

I think Shaw needs to go out on loan to get first team football every week as I have a feeling most of his appearances this season will come from the bench.
I would bring in another striker that knows where the back of the net is NOT MILLER! to old.
